Areas of Work

Geographical Area
Volunteers are expected to work in Lalitpur, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Kavre districts. For volunteer interested to work in other districts and part of Nepal, Swatantrata Abhiyan Nepal will collaborate with it’s network organization and place them there.

Areas of Work
Volunteers are expected to work in following area:

  • Designing and implementing activities on promoting social volunteerism for youths
  • Teaching English, Math and Science in local public schools during school hours or as remedial support for slow learning students.
  • Local Awareness Programs in schools about civic sense and duty, human rights, gender equity, HIV aids, against slavery
  • Documentation and Translation related work
  • Fund raising action for Swatantrata Abhiyan
  • Social Media Campaign (Newsletter, Website, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube update) initiatives.
  • Involvement in local actions of current projects
